I just ordered the big boy reef package from swf.com 100 hermits 100 snails. My question is is that to many for a 125 gallon ? I do have a 29 gallon i could put some in.
i'd think it's too many, but you'll find out if you start seeing dead snails/hermits
personally, i don't like the made up packages anywhere sells, but its a great way for them to sell inverts.
I'm also all for adding livestock bit by bit over time. The idea of introducing 200 animals to your tank all at once seems, well, a recipe for a fair number of them dying. Tanks take time to adjust to the demands of the things in them.
