cuc w/ lion and sf eel

I hear its possible but haven't looked into what specifically I should be getting. I will have a 1" sand bed in a 60G with a dwarf fuzzy and sfe. What should I have as a cuc and do I even need one with only 1" sb?

No shrimp or crabs like emeralds or a sally lightfoot, they just become dinner. Hermits and snails are fair game for your tank. I would make sure that you get some hermits that also eat detritus along with algae, and some nassarius snails. Those should help keep the scraps from accumulating in your tank.

Lions, nor SFE's bother inverts. I am not sure what the problem is here with finding a clean up crew.

well i have a sfe and if a hermit gets a peice of krill he will go after the hermit and shake the thing all over the tank until it is either eaten or it lets go.

I have a tank with 2 lions and they never once bothered my hermit crabs, snails or brittle star.
