This really depends on how much it is growing, and how much you want it to grow..Trimming it will actually increase the growth rate.So if you start trimming, you will soon be trimming every two or three days...
I was wondering if the caulerpa you trim off can be planted again. I currently have only 1 piece of caulerpa in my refugium, none of my local fish stores sell this stuff. I had to drive 2 hours to another town and I found only one store that had any there. She only had a few pieces but I convinced her to sell me one. I'm wondering if I can let this grow and then trim it and replant? Any advice? Thanks
