Cups of salt Per gallon

About how much cups of salt do i need for 5 gallons?? I need to get close i have a refractometer.

What is the five gallon for? You have a refractometer. I assume you already have a tank? Mix the water in your water change bucket (for new) and check it.

i do 9 handfulls per 5 i know not acc. but it works! i allways get 1.025

I am sure that is what he ment.I do 2-1/4 c per 5 gal and the last jug I check perameter then adjust if needed.
