Cured or Uncured?

I'm leaning toward getting uncured liverock as to have more life on it (from what I have heard). But am I mistaken? I am willing for there to be a longer curing process in an extra tank (already have an established tank), so that I will get more life. Input?

if you are putting this live rock in an established tank.....i would NOT put uncured rock in it. you might get a water spike in your tank. but how big is your tank, and how muhc rock are we talking about?

if you are curing the rock in a tank devoid of livestock, then by all means get the uncured variety. Just keep an eye out for pests, like mantis shrimp.

Yes, I would definately do it in a seperate tank! I have a 46 gallon tank (display). I was thinking of curing the live rock in a 30 g. used tank becuase I am not buying all 92 lbs. at once...unless it looks great, then I'll have to go with a big plastic tub. But I would prefer seeing what stuff is on the rock before I reach in... :scared:
