Curing base rock

I did a acid and bleach method on my rocks and now is curing in the tank with salt water and live sand with 1 to 2 bricks of frozen brine shrimp weekly...i test water on Sunday then do a water change....how long will the rock take to be live again i was told 6 months to a year...if that is true what can i do to help the process go faster i was expecting 6 months but not really wanting to wait a year to add fish to my tanks there is 2 75 gallons with about 150 to 200 pds of rock...i did not acid bleach all the rock i have i only did that to the half of the rock that had aipstasia on it

Then i got 150 pounds or so from someone who had the rock in a rubber made container for 9 months with no water movement and evaporation the top half or so was exposed to the air all these rocks are in the tanks now cycling can you please help..I was also told that i would need to purchase more rock to equal up to 50% of what i currently have in each tank to help seed is this true... i may take my 30 gallon running quarantine tank that has waiting fish in it and put that into my 55 gallon so i can get the fish i want in that until the other 2 are ready..

tank 1: salinity is 1.025-26 has been set up for 2 weeks took half water out for tank 2 (API Saltwater test kit) 2 frozen cubes brine shrimp per week
Ammonia-0
Nitrate-0
Nitrite-0
PH High-8.3
Nutrafin PH-7.2

Mind you this tank has been running for a few weeks and did a half tank water change to use that water for the following results for tank 2
Tank 2: started sat-sun with half water from other tank and salinity of 1.026-28

Ammonia-6.4
Nitrate-5.0
Nitrite-0
PH High-7.8
Nutrafin PH-7.2

This test kit does not have the PH test just the PH High I found Nutrafin PH kit a friend gave me...Working on getting the whole Nutrafin test kit as well also i do plan on adding phophate filter pads to canisters when they arrive.....http://www.ebay.com/itm/262545657005

The PH doesn't seem too bad for rocks that went through a acid bath. If it is truly 7.8 or higher it should be safe to add live rock very soon. I would get another test kit just to verify the reading is fairly accurate.

Rock will become live all on its own. Seeding with new live rock will help speed up the process. It can be as little as 1 or 2 pieces of rock or 50%, it doesn't matter. Less new rock just means a longer wait time for life to fully establish.
