Has anyone bought pre-cured live rock from on-line or otherwise. How did you cure it after shipping and how long did it take???? Live sand????

I bought some live rock from an online site and it took exactly 2 weeks for it to cure. I recomend scrubbing the dead stuff off before starting the curing process. I cured it in a Rubbermaid container with a heater and a power head.

EXACTLY what he said.
1) Scrub rocks with nylon brush in seperate tub of salt water (5 gallons of water is plenty)
2) Put in tub and fill with water until rocks are covered.
3) Run PH and Heater 24hrs/day
4) rig some sort of lighting, run 12hr/day
5) Test the water after 3 days, then after 1 week.
6) do 100% water change after 1 week.
7) repeat 5
8) after 2nd week has gone by, if water tests are not zero's, do another 100% water change.
9) repeat 5
10) repeat 8
I only had to do 1 water change. At the end of second week, levels were all zero. Rock went in the tank that day.
Power Head was Off for the picture, so you could see the rock (no ripples)

Lights were 25 watt 6500k flourescents.
