curing live rock

what is the best way to cure the live rock, or a step by step website that i could find to do it. i am going to be buying some in a couple of weeks and want to know the easiest and best way to do it.

If you're setting up a new tank. You can just place the live rock in and it will cure, and cycle the tank at the same time.

If your tank is already established, put it in a large rubbermaid tub. Put a heater in there, and powerhead to move water. Let it sit for awhile and cure. If you want to be safe, keep it in there for 3 or so weeks, this will ensure that no ich hitchhikes with the rock.
 
thanks for the info. my tank is almost done cycling. my amnonia is .25, ph could be 8.2 but is at 7.8, and nitrites are at the very tail end of the stress bar on the test strip, and the nitrates are ina safe range but not gone completly. would it be ok to put the live rock in now or would i have to still cure it outside of the tank. if i put it in this week or by monday of next week
