Curing liverock...fat cat and a windowsill

I was curing some live rock in a 20 gal tank in the spare room. The place we have is kinda small so I had to find a place out of the way to put it.
So intelligent me decided "Hey I'll put it in the spare room....its out of sight and it should be out of everyones way"
So I loaded up the tank a few weeks ago and shoved it under the window out of the way.
Now I know the cats like to sit in that window...I built a larger windowsill just for them to sit it.
So I am sitting about 3 ft away from the tank which is on the floor and i am on the computer when the fat cat decides to jump from the extra chair onto the windowsill (chair is placed next to window on rt side.) I don't think anything of it till I see the cat dangling for dear life by her feet from the sill she just missed and is hanging over the tank.
Needless to say she didnt pull herself up onto the sill but fell down into the tank. I was in the splash zone and a tidal wave hit me and everything else in a 5 ft radius. The what of course does she do but run sopping wet down the hall and into the kitchen.
So now I have a soaking wet cat a soaked extra room/hallway/livingroom/kitchen and a layer of furry cat hair scum on the top of the water in my soaking tank. I also popped a fuse and blew out a power strip.
Moral of the story....dont cure your live rock under a window that a fat cat likes to sleep in.
BTW...My wife says the cat isnt fat she is just really fluffy. But she ain't fluffy no more. She smells like she came in with the tide. I just hope she doesn't go into the litterbox soon.
