Curiosity question

I was doing my weekly maintenance on my tank this morning and noticed the biggest asterina star I have ever seen. It is 1 1/8" across, this to me seems extremely big for this type of star. How big do these guys get? Do I need to worry about him at this size?

I'd like to know this too, I have one that is getting pretty big, and boy can it move pretty fast.

IMO, they don't "become" problems with size. They either are problems, or not. It is on the glass, and I suspect it is not a problem. I have several larger individuals as well. They should not get larger than that, I expect. As always, I would keep an eye on them, but I wouldn't assume that size alone will make it a problem.

Thanks all, I really don't see that it would be a problem, just was wondering if they grow bigger.
I was surprised myself that it had all its legs, most of the other ones that I have are missing at least one or two. It's a keeper for now.
Good thing I got the picture when I did, after downloading the pics, it is no where to be found. Fast mover for the size.
