curly q anemone

I have a curly q anemone that I nursed back from poor health. I love it and it is so fun to watch. But it has gotten so big that it is starting to hit my other corals and killed my leather

how could I make it smaller or get it off of the rock? ANY suggestions are appreciated. Merry Christmas and a happy new year!

chop it off?

so just cut it at the base like a leather? and will the head grow if i put it in some rubble?

i really wasnt expecting the base to live, it really surprised me. yeah i just chopped it. i more expected the head to live, maybe it will for you, but mine died. good luck
