I have a very large culy Q anemone, Ive also had a couple small fish dissappear. One morning my spotted puffer seemed to have lost all its color and had part of its mouth ripped up. I thought for sure he was a gonner, but he made a full recovery. Could my curly Q have done this ?

I don't know about the puffer, it sounds like an aggression attack from another fish. However anemones eat whatever swims in its path that it can sting. The fish swim into it, all anemones eat fish.
