current or coralife?

As the title says i need to know which lightbulb would be best to replace my oddysea lights from my PC fixture. I would also like to know why one is better than the other thx

current USA. their bulbs are better, fixtures look better, feet are supplied and more adjustable, prices are better. same for UV sterilizers, current usa quality is superior and pricing is better. skimmers not so much.

If I understand correctly, you are asking which brand of bulb to choose to use in your existing fixture. Why only the two options? There are several reputable manufaturers/distributors and there is a wealth of information available here (SWF) and elsewhere on the web to help you compare them. I have a Current USA fixture and use their bulbs. The color temperature that I use compares favorably in terms of PAR and other factors to the offerings from other manufacturers and the pricing from Current was quite a bit better.
If you are asking about fixtures, I have never owned a Coralife unit, but I would recommend the Current USA unit. I have a 48" Outer Orbit setup and it is built well and has been reliable over the past 15 months. I had a ballast (one of the ones for the PowerPAQ Actinic's) go out at 13 months, which was frustrating, but Current doesn't manufacture them, so I don't hold that aganst them. I could easily have had the same problem with another brand of fixture...
