Custom 14" Cube (Ric Tank)

So I finally got my ORA Misbarred True Percs' home up and running (aka, Batman and Robin). I built the tank myself using glass that I had acquired over time. The tank is a glass 14"x14"x14" cube and is drilled with a 1" bulkhead powered by a Quiet One 1200 that drains to my 75gal sump that also filters my 100gal DT. I have not decided on lighting yet, but I am thinking a 2-18watt PC. This tank is going to house my Ric collection and a few Zoas as well as a Dracula Goby that I am picking up tomorrow. I have over 20 Rics and I am in the process of switching my 100gal to a SPS tank, and there is going to be just too much flow for these guys. So enough talk here are the two pics I snapped before I shut down for the night.

100gal Display Tank (this was taken a few weeks ago) the 15" Colt was sold last week. Still have a lot of stuff to sell.

Let me know what you guys/gals think.

Good start. Rics make one of the most colorful collections IMO. Here is one I had going a while back.

and a few zoanthids will certainly make everything pop.
PC lighting is great for the growth of ricordea, but for color you might want to eventually see about MH or even T5, though MH will make the colors look their best.

My plan was to originally do T5s with any tank I did from now on, but the tank is only 14" so any T5s are going to hang over the outside of the tank. I have a pendant for a 70watt MH but I would have to buy a ballast and a bulb still, which would set me back aleast $100 , I don't wanna spend $100 on lighting for Rics. PCs seem best for this application. Trust me, I wish I could do T5s.

Well, sad to say, the tank doesn't look any different. I still haven't decided on a light combination, so I still haven't gotten any coral moved over for the other display tank. I should be getting a light sometime this week however.

I LOVE that little cube, i can imagine in a year its going to look awesome in there, very side tank for the big one. I was wanting to do a small cube like that, a little smaller mabye 12 by 10 by 12 and have it as a sun coral farm!!! haha, it would be easy to feed them all if i could just have a small bare bottom tank with alot of snails.
