custom built stand

I just built a stand for my 120 gallon glass tank out of 3" steel tubing. the problem is, during welding it racked slightly (about 1/4" over 5'). so basically when I lay the stand upside down on a flat surface and step on one end it moves 1/4". I was wondering if placing insulating foam board under the tank will allow the tank to seat properly on the stand. if it will, what is the minimum thickness I should use?

I have levelers built into the legs, but it would take around 4,000 pounds of weight on top of the stand to counter any deflection in the frame. I read on the board some where that the use of foam underlayment is a good practice, but i'm not sure if it will help with my situation. any advice will help. thanks
