Custom Hood

This cost me a total of $40 to get all the parts from Home Depot and Lowes and it took me about 2 hours to build total. Why buy a hood for $250++++ if you can build one so cheap :joy: :joy: :joy: :joy: What do you guys/gals think??? I will be adding trim and staining it on Sunday maybe another $10

just noticed that your skimmer cup almost kisses the bottom of the tank...it looks a lil familiar hehe

Yea that thing is a monster but its a nice setup its a refuge/sump/skimmer next thursday i will be getting the sand and the following thursday the rock hopefully if budget permits i will be able to get 70Lbs

is that a bulkhead in the top left corner of your sump?
to guide return pump hose of for top off inlet?? :thinking:

thanks, it's a 65 aga with 20 gallon sump :)
Yeah I don't hear many people talkin about red sea skimmers , well not good at least... I love mine don't know what I'd do w/o it
