cut a hairy mushroom

i just cut a hairy mushroom open by mistake in my 75 gal reef, will i be okay exposing its insides to the tank?

Should be fine I have Fraged many Shrooms inside the tank and never came across a problem yet. I have been fraging in tank for about 2 months now so Id say not a problem but everyone has there own opinion.
