I completely disagree... outside of a good game or two, Leinart never showed that he has the skills to be a starter in this league. Your evidence to the contrary is that he won a single game in Pittsburgh??? If that's the case, I can show you a game or two where Joey Harrington lit up a couple pretty good teams. Leinart may be better that Detroit's QB's but if he came here, he'd just lose games and eventually get shipped out like the rest of the bums we have here.
As far as your Warner love, I can't say I agree with that either. He's a difficult guy to judge. He's had seasons where he was among, if not the best QB in the league. But he's also been a backup at every stop. He went to Arizona basically for a bag of peanuts because there wasn't that much interest in him. Warner's an enigma to me. I wouldn't be surprized if he comes out and has a mediocre season and the Cards go 6-10. Honestly I'm not trying to rip your team but this is JMO.
I agree Leinart has been less than spectacular in his opportunities, but I don't think he has had much of a chance because of the injury he got early in year 2....Warner's only real issue is a HUGE one, he couldn't hold onto the ball for years because of the thumb injury. I don't think his passing ability has ever been in doubt, but for awhile he fumbled every single time he got sacked, that is not so good.
Hey man, my second favorite team is wherever Jon Kitna is playing, Jon and I graduated from the mighty CWU together, he and I played many a round of golf together, I will root for him until the day he retires. Now he is with the Cowboys and I want to cry
