hi, i started cycling my tank about 3 to 4 weeks ago. i started with mostly dead sand and had a filter from another tank. I put some flake food and some frozen food into the tank and let it rot to start the cycling process. i noticed that there was some high nitrite levels in the tank after about 2 weeks, then last night i went into the tank and kinda rearranged it and moved a lot of the sand around. the next day i took a water test figuring it would still be high since I'm still in the cycle and that i just stirred up the sand bed. but everything was a t 0!?!?! I was shocked cause the cycle couldn't have been over already and if it was when i stirred up the sand wouldn't that have caused an ammonia or nitrite spike ( those were the 2 things i checked for both times)??? Is something wrong??? do i have to RE- cycle the tank???
