CYCLE Q?

I sewt my tank up on the 4th of July (( that was my celebration LOL)) anyway the rock that I started with was from my old system that has been torn down for about 3 months (the rock was dry)I washed the rock and place into the tank and added 40LBS of cured LR. the original rock that I added shot the amonia up really high (whole lot of dead stuff on the rock) anyway I didnt do any checks after the first couple of days till today and amonia is 0 nitrite is 0 and nitrate is at 25..
the Question is that is it possible that in less than a week the cycle is almost over?? or is there more to come or what.
I never had any algae blooms like in the other tanks that I setup. I used ro/di water and turn over rate is about 1500 gph.
any input is greatly apreciated..
o and the test are new professional test kits that LFS uses to test water..
thanks
MIke

I do not think that your cycle is finished yet. A week is not very long at all for it to cycle, also you'll know when they cycle is done when you see the diatoms all over the substrate and rocks.

The nitrite usually stays high longer than the ammonia. It needs to be down to zero and stay there for a week or more before proceeding to add anything. It is possible that the cured live rock will reduce your cycle time. Just be sure to test regularly and do not rush it.

not rushing still trying to figure out what I want to put in the tank right now but they way that this cycle has went so far its very different than any other cycle that I have had by far.
the nitrite is almost at zero today not much of a color difference from 0 but a little and nitrate is at 25 still. time will tell the tale.
thanks
Mike
