cycle question(s)

i started my cycle 2 weeks and 3 days ago. everything has droped to 0. even my nitrate. i turned on my protein skimmer 3 days before everything dropped.
1. is my cycle complete?
2. did the skimmer have anything to do with everything dropping?
3. Is the nirate supposed to drop also considering i have no LR or no LS?
4. Do i still have to do a water change if i have no nitrates and the water is only 2 weeks old?

is your tank finished cycleing, personally i dont think so in a 2 week time its hard to say, so i would wait , it could just be a hicup in the cycle
i think the skimmer might have had a little something to do with everything dropping
as far as the nitrates dropping i cant answer that one cause i dont know...
i would hold off on the water change and give your tank time to establish it self

hey allan, thanks for the input. Just to let you know, im cycling with raw shrimp, and a filter with some used bio-wheels. Alot of people do finish their cycle in 2-3 weeks pending on their methods.
