Hi, Started new 90 gal tank ammon. climbed to 4.0 now is 2.0 do I perform water change during this ? Or do I just let it take its own course

Hard cycle = let it go.
Soft cycle = change water when ammonia reaches .5-.75
Advantages
Hard cycle = probably faster
Soft cycle = save as much live stock hitch hikers on live rock as possible.
