Okay, you mean, go to the grocery store and buy... ummmm raw (shelled or unshelled) shrimp from like the meat counter? And place it in the tank? How much of it for a 55 gal? Sorry about my stupidity... but I just want to be sure.

you'll only need 2 or 3 pieces of descent sized, that is it, and no prob,
AND
it's not stupidity, alot of people don't know about this as it is
besides, the stupidity would be to not ask questions in this hobby when you are not sure, that is the smartidity.LOL
