I just Setup my 75g tank. I currently have 60lbs of Natures Ocean Live Sand. Also I have a Brand New Wet/Dry with a new Skimmer that i have Phosguard and Carbon in along with 20 preactive BioBalls and about 10gal of cycled water from another salt water tank. According to the bags of Natures Ocean Live Sand. there should be NO CYCLE. However i know not to believe everything i hear. (Day 2) going to add 20lbs of LR out of my other tank. My LFS says its ok to move over my 2 damsals and Blenny. Should i wait? how will i see a Cycle Spike without doing so? I dont want to loose any fish. Even Damsals.. Thanks..

I agree with @knight... go ahead and move the damsels, just please wait on moving the blenny. Damsels are rock solid and can make it through just about anything. :)

If you really want to go for it take out the bio balls, add more live rock, get a DSB.
I am goig to do a 75 DSB and I think I'll need something like 175 + lbs of LS. How many inches did the 60 lbs do.

I recommend getting rid of the bio-balls now.
You can add your fish now also, it shouldn't cycle.
Natures Ocean is good stuff.

I had 20 lbs of Natures Ocean I believe and 40 lbs of Live Rock when I started my 70 gallon tank. My system never cycled and has been stable for about 1 1/2 months now. Only problem I am having right now is algae, but as of tomorrow my new cleanup crew will be here to take care of that pesky little problem ;)
