cycle with l/r

I just set up a 29 with 30 pounds of uncured l/r will this cycle my tank or will I need to add some damsels or raw shrimp? There is a protein skimmer and 2 power heads running. Thanks for the info in advance.

If it's uncured rock, I think it will cycle on it's own. I would turn off the skimmer, it will prolong your cycle.

try looking into live sand too. then it should be cycled in a couple days.
