I know to watch the am, nitrites, and nitrates during the cycle but there is so many changes. Should I even worry about the PH and Alkalinity during the cycle or just wait until the cycle is over.
There is nothing to worry about at this time. When your am and nitrites are zero, do a water change to lower nitrates, test everything else. Changes are, that unless you added anything to your tank, the other levels will be fine.
