cycle

I have a 90 gallon with 3 4" fish and a snowfake. I just bought a 240 gallon. The 90 gallon has been running for over 4 years with a tidepool filter.
If I run the new tank with a new filter and fluidized bed, and also move the mature tidepool filter (biowheel) and substrate from the 90 gallon to run along side it for a few months. DO I STILL NEED TO CYCLE THE NEW TANK? Or will the bacteria on the old biowheel and the old substrate be enough to handle more water but the same fish load?

Flip a coin...You may,or may not get a cycle...Sorry,but that is the best I can do for an answer on this one...Chances are pretty good that it wont,,,But then??????

Mr. Salty, let me ask you one more question that there may not be an answer for. My 90 gallon is prone to get tiny white worms on the glass, particulary if I don't scrape the algae vigilantly.
Will I be introducing the worms to my new tank if I use the biowheel/tidepool from the old one? What about the substrate in the tidepool sump? Am I better off just using the biowheel without the substrate? Someone said these worms are unavoidable and just keep cleaning the glass. I find that hard to believe. (Again I was planning on running two filters to avoid a cycle for a month or two) Thanks for you help
