i went to my lfs and the guy told me to get the water ok then add ls&lr then dump a packet of this stuff called BIO-SPIRA from the creators of instant ocean anyone ever heard of this? then the next day i could put my fish in there 12g nano is what i got btw input please

I do not know what this stuff is you lfs guy told you about, but there is no substitute for simple patience.

Update i used it it is a packet of live bateria?sp that helps set the bio-filter in the spong in the fiter. In 24 all levels have settled down to good and i put fish in tonight. It worked good for me. I will be useing it on my 135 in feb. that il be setting up. I can only hope all goes as well with it as it did with my nano. thanks for the help but looks like the LFS guy doesnt suck after(i feel lucky) all.

I've heard of bio spira. From what I know, it is the only one of those cycling products that works IF it is stored correctly prior to using it because it is a bacterial culture. there is a website. it is a marineland product.

well me and the wife were consernd that it was not cold,or he didnt tell us to keep it cold. Then we went to the web site and on there they said it could be kept up to a year at <87c. then we went ahead and put it in. worked gr8t
