how do u no when your cycle is starting my tank been set up for two weeks and i dont no if my clcle has started

Do you have test kits? You have to test for the presence of ammonia , nitrites, and nitrates to know if your tank is cycleing.

and what would the test results mean how would you detremine when it has started and finishesd

you would have an ammonia spike then drop .. most of the time signifing the start(spike) end(drop) of the cycle.. i'd wait another week at least after the drop.....
