while the tank is cycling could i add a calcium buffer?
how do i raise the salinity while the tank is cylcing?it os like at 1.010

I dont know about the calcium buffer, but I would say dont add any chemicals/buffers while its cycling. To raise the salinity, use a bit more salt mix than normal to your water than what is listed to use. Do this gradually until you reach the desired SG. Are you using a swing-arm type hydrometer, glass, or a refractometer to measure the SG/salinity? The cheap plastic swing arm style hydrometers are notorious for being WAY off. Good luck!
