My tank has been cyclying for 4 weeks now, 55 gal, with wet/dry filter w/ bio balls and berlin skimmer in sump, 2 402 Power Heads, 300 watt heater, 60 lbs LR, 65 lbs LS. My ammonia and nit's levels have came down to some, ammonia need to come down just a little more. when do I turn on the Protine Skimmer? I think this will bring down the ammonia to 0 from 0.25, by removing any floating stuff that may be causing the ammonia to remain at that level.
