cycling my 12g nano

I just bought a 12 gallon nano. How long would it take to cycle if I used live rock and water out of my 75 gallon tank and got live sand from my LFS? My 75 is a year old and everything has been fine for 8 months now. Also I would like to get 2 CB black seahorses and a cleaner with a few corals, does that sound ok. I am not a expert at this, the 75 is my first sw tank. I do feel that i'm pretty good at this though. I had promblems at first but I learned what I think is the best rule of this hobby, take your time. I done that, and now I have a very beautiful tank that I wouldn't get rid of for anything.

to be safe, i would wait it out about 3 or 4 weeks. i let mine run for a month before I added livestock, but im weird about cycling and losing fish/corals! good luck

i have a 12 gal. nano, nano's cycle pretty fast, it took my tank about 3 days to spike then i waited to add anything about 1.5 weeks. just be sure to test... this is my tank now.
