how long do i leave the cocktail shrimp in the tank?? i moved setting it up agin... the other tank i used damsels now i know thats cruel .... so how long do i leave the shrimp in there

Until you notice a big spike in ammonia.

After you put the shrimp in wait about 24 hours and test for ammonia. If no spike wait another 24 and test again. It shouldnt take much more than a day or 2.

I have heard on here too to let it get "fuzzy" then take it out. Best idea though IMO is what drew said. Watch for the spike. HTH
