Cycling question

My amonia level spiked at around 8.0 for almost a week, when it started to drop I started testing my Nitrites the highest I seen was 3.0 and the next day it was at zero. Has my tank finished cycling or could the Nitrites still spike?

how long has the tank been running? whats in it? could be but without all the info who knows

Has been running almost two months. 110 gal. Only live rock and sand . Amonia was up really high for more than a week dropped all of a sudden had detectable nitrites for about a day now amonia 0 nitrites 0 nitrates 50. Just wanted to know if you thought it was finished cycling or will the nitrites raise as high as the amonia did.

Looks like you're done. I'd do a water change if you haven't already.

they might when you start adding something you are feeding, just watch, but it prob is done, i would do water change as well,
