Cycling time?

Ok guys... my friends 55gal tank has been set-uped for three weeks now with 10lbs of lr and 4 damsels,nitrate .1 ph 8.0,nitrite .1
when will he be able to add other fish. thinks he wants a clown or two and some anemones (bad spelling)?
on the other hand my take will be baught this week end 55 also and soon will get rock also and cycleing in two weeks,(YEAAAA!!!!)

How's his ammonia? I'd wait till evrything zeros out. Then add only one fish evry other week. In a 55gallon tank you'll run out of room for fish soon,so pick them carfully. You will be able to have 5 or maybe 6 fish....STEVE

opps sorry... i forgot to list that one, his ammonia is .25....ohh by the way .. what kind of anemonie should he get if he wants a couple of clowns?

Anemones are a different problem.Depends on the clown,but clowns don't need one to be happy.They also require higher intensity lighting....First off WAIT TILL THE TANK ZERO'S OUT......STEVE
