Unfortunately I started cyscling my tank before I found this great site. My Tank is cycling and ammonia is rising. Is the ammonia or the nitrite phase more stressful on the fish? Thanks

It's not really a matter of which one is more stressful. They are both different stressors from a physiological standpoint.

yeah I did the same thing when I first got my tank. you need to pull the fish out and let your tank fully cycle. It will get worse and you dont wont to loose your fish
