Cyclops by Ocean Nutrition

Just wondering if anyone has used it? I heard it's really good stuff suppose to be like Cyclopeeze. Just curious because I need something to feed my anthias. If anyone knows anything about it or has experience feeding it please post. Thanks in advance.

I did a search on the web (have not seen nor heard of this product before) the only information i could find on a product with that name was cyclops by sanfransico bay brand the same comapny that is known for brine shrimp. Could not find any testimonials on it or any other related information. If you end up using it let us know how it is, it seems to me that it is similar to cyclopeeze.

I was at the LFS a on sunday and they were feeding with Cyclops. The fish were crazy over it. It's mainly for Corals, Featherdusters, Anenomes, damsels, clownfish, gobies, blennys, and freshwater tetras, rasboras, guppys, cory cats...
I bought some and started using it. Have only used it twice so far and everyone in the tank just freaks out. I also soaked it in vita-chem or garlic x-treme.

It's definately made by Ocean Nutrition, I just looked in the freezer and it is called cyclops. I was just wondering if anyone had any information on it. I was just looking into getting it for my anthias whom are some what finicky to begin with. And I soak all my food in garlic extreme. I already feed: San Francisco Bay Brand: Marine Cuisine, Squid, Omega 3 Brine shrimp. Hikari mysis. Ocean nutrition prime reef. Just looking for something extra for those anthias.

I use it to mainly feed my duncanopsammia, but the fish and certain other corals get the leftovers that flow around the tank. IME it's too small for anemones to grab onto unless you're giving them a whole unthawed cube.

I mean, how big is it exactly? I'm assuming smaller then brine but how much smaller? And is there any nutritional value to it whatsoever? I need something to feed my anthias. I would probably also spot feed it to corals too.

my orange tube blastos (welsi and merlet??) candycane coaral all grab and eat cyclops the only thing i think may affect your situation is cyclopbreeze is bright red unlike cyclops that is dull red to brown so cyclopbreeze may be better for keeping the color on the anthias there may be somebody on this forum that knows more about that

I mean they do eat mysis. But the tiny pieces. I would like to see them eat more! All my fish eat like pigs but the anthias are somewhat finicky and search for the perfect piece of food to eat lol. Whereas everything else eats anything that comes near it!!

Cyclops looks like baby shrimp but I don't know what kind. I can tell you my Kole Tang eats really good now. For awhile after I put him in the tank all he would eat is the algea he found on the rock and side of the tank. sine I put cyclops in there he just flys around the tank biting at it seems like nothing since the cyclops is so small. No he eats anything I put in the tank except my fingers.
