Please, I need your help !
I have 55 gal. When i got it was an established
tank and i never had water or deases probs,
also new nothing about it.
2 month ago we mooved to enother town.
Changed all water in our tank and :( all
fish died, but one ( love her madly after this).
In about 3 weeks bought 2 fish. they made it
for a week or so. That's when i got an idia that
we have a majer water problem. Started serching,
tasting, daily shopping and asking questions at lfs.
At this point my husbend decided to buy more fish
to make me happy.
In a few days I had it all one by one: clown with ick, yellow
tang with fin rot + black spots, wrasse with
protruding scales.
I also had 2 anemones so found only Maracyn
and Maracyn2 suitable. Treated for 2 weeks.
All fish are fine, but I dont now for how long,
because i struggle with ammonia every day.
I do 10% water chenges weekly
and use AmQuel every day.
Ammonia keeps coming up to 0.25
pH- 8.2 nitrites -0, nitrates- 0
I know somthing is wrong. Mayby everything.
You are my only hope.

Yes, there is something wrong, you keep adding fish on a tank that hasn't cycled and you medicated the tank which has effectively diminished the capacity of your tank's biofilter.
By chance, have you picked up some hobby books to read? I would highly recommend to you Robert Fenner's, "The Consciencious Marine Aquarist".
Also, please take a look at the FAQ Thread which is at the top of this Forum. Stay tuned to SWF.com for knowledge and friendly helpful advise.
The best advise is that PATIENCE PAYS & KNOWLEGE COMES FIRST in this hobby.
Do you have a FO tank? If so, you can use hyposalinity safely in your main tank to treat the fish. Don't add any more medications to your main tank. All medications are toxic to tank ecosystems!
If you need info on the hyposalinity procedure, do a Search using our search feature. There are many discussions. You can post back with questions after some study time.
Good luck!

Thank you Beth.
It's a good advise. I do stady every day.
I know my mistakes and I'm paying for it.
Too bad my teares are not gonna help
my fish to survive.
What I need to know is is there anything
I can do to save my fish.
Do they have a chance ?
Any advice or suggestion will be appreciated
so much !!!

Yes, i have live send.
Clown got ick after being atacked and bit by demssels.
he stopped eatting and I lost him a week ago.
I can't do hypo because of anemones.
But, as I sad, they eat garlic twice a day.
I test water every day.
Tomorrow will change 20% to keep nitrates down.
How often can skin protector (or protective coating)
be used safely ? Tang's fins are damaged after fin rot.
Thank you.
