cynobacteria help

Hope this is in the right thread, this has all changed since I have been here last. I don't see a search option so I thought I would post. My tank is going great (1 year old)but develops red cynobacteria about every three months. I have added a power head but it didn't seem to change the development of the stuff. I have a 55g corner tank and the bacteria develops mostly in the front left farthest from back corner flow and the power head I placed on right side wall toward front. Any ideas, I appreciate the help.

agree with kip, i have had a small problem with it and my trates are like 0 and my po4 is .2, so i have been moving my ph's around trying to create the best current to eliminate dead spots. so far it has helped alot and i'm still experimenting, also i got 2 queen conchs and they love the stuff.
