One thing about Salt water is to remember that if it is not broke then why fix it. Besides lights you need nothing more for a reef. My 125 gallon reef has a Seaclone 150 and that is it. I have no sump or refugium or nothing. My system works great for my tank, but may not work for somebody with a higher bioload than me. If you start to experience increased nitrates or other issues then you may want to try other filtration but until then I would not change a thing and slowly move into the reef creatures. Fiji rock looks nice but if your tank looks good now with your rock you have then just add corals and critters.

Either a 2-96 watt retro with daylight bulbs or a 2-110 watt VHO retro kit with daylight bulbs. Then get a 2-40 watt retro kit and run actinics. Total cost should be around $200.00 shipped. You will be able to keep just about everything but probaly clams and some of the really high light corals.
