Daisy Polyp - Odd

I noticed today that my daisy polyps are growing these weird milky tube things out from their rock. not along the rocks but just out into the waters. Later on I noticed that these tubes now had tiny daisy polyp heads on them..
Any thoughts on what this is and why its doing that?

New polyps growing? Are they in an area where they are not getting the same amount of light as the rest of the colony? Could they be reaching for light? Got a picture?

Heres a picture. I got this a few days ago and it had big branches of pink. Now in my tank they are starting to shrink.
