damaging brain coral

I have just upgraded the lighting on my 33 to a 250watt medalhalide. My brain coral was doing fine before the upgrade but now i think the light might be damaging it. You cant really tell during the day but at night you can see an area that looks all bleached out, and it looks like its growing. I dont know if he's just over inflated or is bleaching. Ill try to get a pic tonight.

Sometimes when you first introduce the Metal Halides to new Corals, or Vice Versa, you need to start them off slowly, like 1 hr the first day of MH then 2 the next and so on. Otherwise you can Burn your corals. Goodluck! Todd
