Damsel Hiding...

I just got a three stripe damsel (my first fish, and yes my tank is done cycling) and he has been hiding behind my heater for about 5 hours. I was just wondering how long it usually takes fish to adjust to the tank and start swimming around?

I had 3 damsels when cycling and they swam around quite abit. Every fish is different, but my damsels would hide behind the LR if I would go up to the tank, but not during feeding time. I have a firefish now and all he does is hide, he wont even come out for feeding time, he is gonna starve.
Just check you water, if everything is fine don't sweet it.

Give him a coule of days. They are shy at the begining, after a while the get use to see people around. :happyfish
