So I put a bta in my tank couple weeks ago last night I was looking at tank late at night and found my damsel hosting the bta. I tried to get pic but by time I got back I must of scared him away. My clowns are now aggressive to damsels and they where not even hosting bta what can I do to evict the damsel and move in clowns?

Clownfish are techancially damselfishes (Pomacentridae family), so other damselfishes hosting anemones is nothing new

Yea, if you want the clowns in the anemone, it would probably mean evicting the damsel. In captivity, clowns pairing up with anemones isn't a 100% guarantee, and with a damsel in there, it's even more unlikely.

+1
Only the individual clown fish know what gets them "hot" for an anemone...I've had clowns host in an anemone right away, then later in life, a different set of clowns, same species not go anywhere near the same anemone EVER....but give the latter set of clowns a different anemone, say a BTA as opposed to LTA and BAM - they wanna host before I got the new one out of the bag.
It kinda sucks, as you may now have an anemone that they'll never use. - but i've had bad luck. . usually my clowns either host immediatley or never (till I get them somthing they like)
