Will green chromis and blue reef chromis damsels school together? And what gobies are recommended for a reef set-up? Lastly, how hardy are dragon gobies(?) and do they do well in a reef community? Thx in Advance :D

The chromis are great and should school.
Word of warning the are hard as h*ll to get out of your reef if you don't want them later...so think about it. All damsels are the same. as far as catching them.
Chromis are very docile and work well.
Dragonets...Wait on them. you really need to have a mature tank to have one.
My goal when I started was to get one after 6 months if I had NO problems that would kill of the copepods in the tank.
That is what they eat...all the shrimp looking bugs in your sand or Crushed Coral.
You will need to have lots of Live Rock.
Example: in my 55 I have 50 pounds of Live rock.
Very few fish only gobies really
and coral.
The gobies I have.
1 Phycodelic(sp) Goby always hunting great color to the tank.
1 Citrus Clown goby (always outfront wanting his picture taken) First to food
1 Catalina goby Jewel of my tank bright red with blue markings ..just now getting friendly. Just starting to eat Flake food was eating off Live rock before.
1 Yellow watchman goby- I love him but boy is he moody.. if you move the rock in the tank he will hide for weeks pouting.
I wake up at night and he watching me ...hence the name.
Shrimp are great to have
heres my list
1 blood or fire cleaner Clean the fish
2 scarlet cleaners to clean the fish
1 candy or camel back
4 peppermints to eat aptasia
2 Emerald crabs to clean the Bubble algae
1 coral crab brown harmless hitch hiker
1 anenome crab filter feeder and cares for coral
Plants for Nitrate help
3 different types are growing in my tank succesfully
6 Feather dusters- filter feeders
And my corals too many to mention....
I guess what I suggest is make a plan. That way you don't end up with fishor corals you don't want or that die.

Wow Kim! You must have a beautiful tank! Since this is my first go at at a reef setup, this board has been invaluable. I went with the chromis because I do plan on keeping them in the reef. When I had a FO tank I had a heck of a time catching about 6 blues, and blk&white striped pair of damsels. I finally gave up on one of the striped and he became one of the most dominant fish in the tank. What was amaxing was I had triggers, a lion, and a couple of groupers, so this is why I picked the chromis. They seem to be easygoing and look good against a reef.
I have only 50# of LR in my 73g, and it looks only like 20#. What is the ratio for LR? Is it 2# per gallon? or 1 1/2 per gallon?
As for fish, Im definitly keeping things slow. Whats a good time to add a cleaner crew? Thanks again! :D

You know I'm not sure what the ratio is ... I figure right around a pound per gallon.
Everyone will have different views and it really depends on what you plan on putting in your tank..
I loved my chromis but parted with them when I realized my tank was going in a different direction.
about 4 months into it. Luckly my brother is also into the hobby and he was able to put them into his large 130 tank.
Thank you for the compliment
I love my tank
