Damsel Vs Trigger

So I just purchased a clown trigger, my tank is 120 gal and I have a damsel that is harassing the trigger like crazy. The damsel is very large about 4 to five inches and my trigger is about three inches. The trigger is showing no aggressiveness to defend itself so I can't imagine him living long. Ive read on these forums for ways to get the damsel out but can't. I have a lot of rock for both the trigger and damsel to hide in and it would take me forever pulling it all out ruing homes for my 2 in a half foot zebra eel and what would be a pissed of lion fish.
Any ideas? Or does anyone believe the fight between the two is only temperamental?

It isn't temporary, when mature, damsels will kill anything less aggressive then themselves. They have been known to even bite a hand that is put in the tank, drawing blood. You may find it isn't so easy moving rock while the fish feeds on you, making the eel and lionfish the least of your problems.
Solution besides moving rocks...You might try putting a chunk of raw shrimp in a large net and see if the fish will go for it...or... Perhaps rig a tiny spear gun to kill it.

Well I kind of let things happen on their own and well....
The trigger is 100% happy and alive
The damsel stop picking on the trigger and they swim and eat together just fine.
Maybe it was a dominance act?
Thanks for the input y'all

Damsels including clown fish are highly territorial. Just their nature. Time will tell who the big winner is. Always up Flower.
