damsel??

ok i seen a one at the lfs today that was deep black with a bright metallic like stripe and white. i was wondering what kind it was because it just said ast. damsels.
also if theres any info on how aggressive they are too because i would really like a pair but if they are going to raise hell in the tank and be a pain to remove i dont think id want to get them. soo yep ...thanks

i have seen those before..damsels, pretty much all of them, are messy, are fast and impossible to catch, and are just plain mean to most fish usually. There like the goldfish of saltwater imo.

If so its a Javanese or Neon Velvet Damsel the are aggressive and are one of the larger damsel getting as large as 6 inches, they also get meaner and their colors get duller as they grow large

arg, they will be in with a trigger, puffers, SFE and maybe a tang. would it still be a prob? oor?

after some looking around i seen some varients of the blue velvet and that may be it

the only thing I would worry about is the puffer depending on what type, what with the damsel being so much faster

and my 2 GSPs. they're absolute demons so i dont think they would be a problem.
i just dont want a nice looking fish thats gonna turn all ugly so thats the reason i would pass on them i think
