Wanting to know of the damsel family and chromis family which ones are the smallest in size when at full maturity?
Question for a friend.

It honestly depends on which fish we're talking about. Some damsels get MUCH bigger than chromis, but some stay smaller. The damselfish family is so much bigger. As a whole, I'd say the damsels get bigger, but it's a close call.
Chromis usually get about 3" (the size of a full size clownfish).
Domino Damsels can get to be 5-6" while while a Yellow Tail Damsel gets 3" and a Blue Damsel gets 2-3" and the Azure Damsel gets to be 3-4"
