ACK KAC KACK KACK KACK!!!! (popeye)
It's the nitrates! I had it happen to my fish too. Your nitrates are WAY too high! Also 82 degrees is a bit much.
Lower your temp and get rid of those nitrates. The LFS sells popeye stuff, but nothing fixes it like getting your water right.

Surf the "disease and treatment" forum. I have never had this happen, but suspect it is because of your water quality. Also double check your SG...1.235 is extraordinary! Many people find success with a SG around 1.025 or 1.026 for reefs and maybe 1.019 or so for fish only tanks.
How long has your tank been set up?

I recently had a problem with my percula clown. She had this enormous bubble thing popping out from above her eye. It made her eyeball look huge. I added some Kanycin (sp) to my quarantine tank, let her swim in it for a few hours each day for a couple of days, and she is fine now.

i did a water change last week and took my nitrates down to 20 but now are back up to 80. should i do another water change? i was feeding too much so i cut back and am getting more clean up crew.

YES do the water changes man, god you have to have your level down to 0 or as close as possible dude and all the time... your tank is still cycling...you are going to lose everthing unless you can stay ontop of the water changes that is your only hope i fear for you!
good luck

my tank is not still cycling i dont think. all levels were zero before i added any fish. i am getting more live sand, clean up crew, and gonna water change.....this should help some.

This should take care of your nitrate=less maintancee of your tank.
Look into EcoSystem and you will get more information.....
To control nitrate is regular water change or algae filtration as algae enjoy comsuming nitrate as their food soruce.
Good Luck.

As far as the Nitrates are concerned:
High nitrates are considered to be 30 ppm and above. This will cause fish growth to slow down, cause stress, impair the immune system and reduce energy levels. I think its time to check your prefilter and your bio balls. If the filter floss is ok then leave it and check the bio balls for excess gunk, if they look dirty then you will have to remove a couple of hand fulls and rinse them in clean RO water then put them back. Do them same thing next week to some of the other bio balls. Reduce your feedings to once a day or once every other day, just a little bit.
