I cycled my tank with them. After it cycled I removed the live rock and stored it in coolers with tank water. I netted the damsels and mollys, and flushed. I have had damsels that worked well with other fish and I had some that were aggressive. I would suggest some blue/green reef chromis fish. They school together and help coax out shy fish in the reef. They look nice and are very friendly to other inhabitants. I decided to take the damsels out now so that once I added corals I would not have to destroy the tank trying to get them out. Whats done is done, if you are finished with them and the LFS will not take them back get rid of them. I would try to take them to the LFS and trade for some hermits or something, they may go for it.
